Dr. Silvia Secco
Urologic Clinic, Niguarda Hospital, Milan, ItalyDr. Silvia Secco is a leading female Urologist and full-time staff member at the Urologic Clinic, Niguarda Hospital in Milan, Italy – home to the Retzius-sparing approach for radical robotic prostatectomy
was first developed. Originally from the University of Padua, Dr. Secco has built a strong surgical career with extensive experience in robotic, laparoscopic, endoscopic urological procedures, and all minimally invasive surgical techniques (MISTs) currently available in Europe.
Passionate about functional urology and the advancement of MIST for lower urinary tract symptoms, Dr. Secco is a UroLift System Faculty Member, proctoring and educating peers since 2022. She also serves on the ERUS Board, is an Associate Member of the EAU Section of Endourology and the EAU Section of Outpatient and Office Urology (ESUO), and currently holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Innovators and Technology Committee of the Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU). Dr. Secco is a published author in leading journals with a strong focus on robotic surgery and the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
